Class 2 Curriculum
This curriculum is designed for Class 2 driver training, focusing on the comprehensive
skill set required to operate buses and similar vehicles safely and effectively.
The holder of a class 2 license may operate the following:
• A bus of any seating capacity for passengers.
• A vehicle or any combination of vehicles in Class 3, 4 or 5.
• any combination of vehicles without air brakes where the towed vehicles exceed
a gross weight of 4,500 kg.
• Any vehicle in Class 1 or 6 while the driver is learning to operate.
The course integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills, emphasizing safety,
legal compliance, and responsible driving practices.

Class 3 Curriculum
This curriculum is tailored for Class 3 driver training, focusing on the necessary skills and knowledge to operate trucks and other large vehicles. It encompasses various topics, from essential vehicle operation to advanced driving techniques, ensuring a well-rounded education for aspiring Class 3 drivers.

Class 4 Curriculum
We designed this curriculum for Class 4 driver training to target individuals who operate taxis, small buses, and ambulances. It encompasses comprehensive courses covering theoretical knowledge and practical skills for safely and efficiently handling Class 4 vehicles.

Class 5 Curriculum
The Class 5 Driver Training Curriculum aims to comprehensively understand safe and responsible driving practices for personal vehicles in the Northwest Territories, like cars and light trucks. It encompasses theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and a deep understanding of traffic laws, road safety, and environmental considerations specific to the region. The curriculum emphasizes defensive driving, driver responsibility, and the adaptation of driving strategies to address seasonal changes and environmental conditions. It also focuses on cultural responsiveness, ensuring driving practices align with local community values and norms. This curriculum aims to equip learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely navigate the diverse and challenging driving conditions in the Northwest Territories.

​Class 7 Curriculum
The Class 7 Driver Training Curriculum comprehensively teaches students safe and responsible driving practices for personal vehicles, such as cars and light trucks, in the Northwest Territories. At the end of Learning, a student must comprehensively understand road safety, vehicle control, and traffic laws as outlined in the driver's manual. Essential topics include recognizing and adhering to traffic signs, signals, and road markings; understanding right-of-way rules and how to safely approach and navigate through intersections, including making turns and handling complex situations like traffic circles.  The training also highlights the dangers of impaired, distracted, and aggressive driving, outlining such behaviours' legal and safety implications. Mastery of these topics prepares the student to develop practical driving skills and understand the responsibilities of a driver, which are crucial to passing the Class 7 licensing exam.
